I hate radio commercials. I also don't really listen to cds in the car, unless I'm on a roadtrip.
I am an NPR listener. Not a listener-supporter. Just a listener. (I'm not ashamed to admit that I steal public radio.)
I leave it on all the time. Maybe once a week I'll switch over to the swing station to see what's on, but otherwise, it's all public radio all the time. It's "Morning Edition" on the way to the park and ride, where I then catch the beginning of "Classics in the Morning" (with Ron Della Chiesa or Cathy Fuller, depending on the day) before I catch the bus.
On the way home, I drive with the windows open. I pull up to stoplights and get strange looks as the "All Things Considered" theme blares from my car.
I don't care. I'm a public radio dork.
