East Providence has been having a little bit of a drinking water problem. This statement appeared in the paper today:

"The boil water advisory remains in effect [and] the source of contamination has not been identified," June Swallow, chief of the office of drinking water quality at the state Department of Health, said yesterday."

Wow. She now joins the ranks alongside one of my all-time favorite hilariously appropriately named family businesses: Amigone Funeral Homes.

Yes, Amigone. And yes, it's pronounced the way you think it is. They've been a fixture of the Buffalo funeral business for 78 years. And we still all find their name amusing.
