Once again, the fine folks at the local branch of the National Weather Service have brought forth gales of laughter from the Jen.
Why? Because, just in time for Thanksgiving, they're predicting the Playtex 18-Hour Storm.
There's just too many good phrases in this forecast:
"All forms of outdoor travel... land... sea and air...." (well, yes, that does cover them all, doesn't it)
"a colder precipitation episode" (say it! say it! "SNOW.")
"Confidence in the expected adverse weather details may be expressed in updated statements..." (translation: "I'm not taking the blame for predicting for snow during the biggest travel day of the year, I'll let my boss, who comes in later, handle that one.")
