tiny batman

I don't remember Cheerios putting toys inside their boxes when I was a kid. But we picked up a box last week, and it trumpeted the presence of ONE OF FOUR Batman or Joker figurines (action figures?). Each character comes in two versions.

I opened the box, and in a separate plastic bag, right on top of the cereal bag, was this little guy.



Why was my kung-fu-grip Batman in a separate bag? Was there some kind of last-minute change to the toys? Have the lawsuits gone so far that someone thought that a child might choke on the bag o'caped crusader? I don't know.

I do know that he's hilarious. And strangely proportioned. And that he's taken on garden gnome status in our house (which is to say that we will need to photograph him in various locations undertaking various activities).

First stop, the kitchen bar. For a Dark and Stormy. Batman's had a long day.
